The Selection Guide is intended to provide background information and selection advice necessary for engineers and buyers to ensure their next project achieves the level of cost-effective field reliability today's customers demand. The guide complements both the individual product line Solutions Guides and the bourns.com website, and is a reference guide describing Bourns' extensive telecom circuit protection product offering.
The guide is divided into three sections encompassing Multifuse® Resettable Fuses, TISP® Thyristor Surge Protectors, Gas Discharge Tubes, Surge Line Protection Modules and Telefuse™ Telecom fuse product lines. The applications section allows design engineers to determine which protection elements they will need for their design, while the technology section explains which product is best suited for their equipment. Finally, the individual product selection guides allow the reader to determine which Bourns® products can be applied to both their application and technological needs.
