 Bourns Introduces Dedicated Protection for International Modem Designs

RIVERSIDE, Calif. – September 25, 2002 – Bourns, Inc., a leading manufacturer of electronic components and integrated solutions, today announced the launch of three new TISP® devices designed specifically to provide UL1950/60950 and FCC Part 68 (now TIA/EIA-IS-968) compliance. Bourns' new TISP43xxMMAJ/BJ are designed for all applicable modem standards, and are available in both SMB and SMA packages.
Most modems are assembled using surface-mount technology, with protection components typically supplied in SMB packages. The TISP43xxMMAJ/BJ series is available in either the SMB or the 25 percent smaller SMA packages, allowing for the migration of designs with updated PCBs to the smaller footprint alternative.

The TISP43xxMMAJ/BJ series is now available, and samples are offered for evaluation. Pricing begins at @body.28 per piece based on quantities of 25K.
