 Bourns Introduces New Chip Resistor Array

RIVERSIDE, Calif. – Mar. 25, 2002 – Bourns, Inc., a leading manufacturer of electronic components and integrated solutions, today announced the introduction of the CAT10, a 0402-sized chip array with concave terminals. The CAT10 is available in E24 standard values at a tolerance of five percent, and accompanies Bourns’ convex terminal chip array, the CAY10.
Using Bourns’ CAT10 improves placement efficiency and permits high-density mounting while reducing board space and component count. The product is available in standard values from 10 ohms to 1 Megohm, eliminating the need to purchase multiple sizes. Utilized primarily by the computers and peripherals market, the CAT10 can be used in computers, printers, hard disk drives, CD-ROM drives and more.
Pricing and Availability
The Bourns® CAT10 is packaged on paper tape and reel for automatic placement.
Lead time on the product is currently ten weeks for production orders. Based on quantities of 100K, pricing for the products begins at @body.02 per piece.
