 Bourns® Outside Plant Group Releases New IPA Product Family

RIVERSIDE, Calif. - August 11, 2003 - Bourns is pleased to announce the release of the new Integrated Protection Assembly (IPA) product line for outside plant application. The product line features the 7206 series, a six-line Network Interface Device (NID), the 2360 series station protector and the 3612 broadband POTS Splitter. The protectors and POTS Splitters snap into the 7206 NID. Tools are not required, making installation quicker and easier. The 2360 series station protectors have an integrated subscriber bridge and incorporate Bourns patented MSP® technology for outstanding protection, performance and reliability. Bourns® MSP® products combine the best features of GDT and solid state technology for fast transient response, high energy handling and low, balanced capacitance all suited for xDSL applications. The full rate, ADSL 3612 POTS Splitter meets ANSI T1.413-1998 requirements. The station protectors and POTS Splitter are compatible with CAC2000 series NIDs. Bourns® Outside Plant products are available through Power and Telephone, Graybar and other authorized Bourns distributors.
