 Bourns® Sensors & Controls Product Line Introduces New Solutions Guide

RIVERSIDE, Calif. - April 30, 2003 - Bourns, Inc., a leading manufacturer of electronic components and integrated solutions is pleased to announce the release of a new Sensors & Controls Solutions Guide. The new guide includes individual sections to assist engineers in selecting the correct potentiometer or encoder for their application.
According to Product Marketing Manager, Chuck Manzano, "each section includes an in-depth view of the technologies used in the construction of potentiometers and encoders, along with modification capabilities and typical end user applications." The Application Notes section expands on performance characteristics, circuit configurations and signal conditioning especially important to designers. The Custom Solutions section displays the automotive products offered as well as an overview of integrated front panels and the IFP system advantage.
Although the Solutions Guide includes updated data sheets, a Product Selection Guide summarizes the data sheets into a matrix format that is an extremely useful tool for quick reference and model comparison. A full glossary of terms associated with Sensors & Controls products is also listed in the new guide.
