RIVERSIDE, Calif., December 17, 2025 - Bourns, Inc., a leading manufacturer and supplier of electronic components for power, protection, and sensing solutions, today announced that it continues to expand its industry-leading POWrFuse™ High-Power Fuses with the new PF-SRC50E Series. Designed to protect today’s more sensitive power semiconductors, this new series features 500 VDC and 690 VAC-rated voltage with an interrupting rating of up to 100 kA. Delivering higher voltage protection support in a compact footprint (17.5 mm dia. x 46 mm L), these new fuses are superior solutions for power inverters, converters, rectifiers, AC/DC drives, Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) and reduced voltage motor starters.
The PF-SRC50E Series is engineered to meet the requirements of UL 248-13 and IEC 60269-4 (aR class) standards, ensuring dependable protection and safe operation in high-voltage AC and DC systems. Bourns® POWrFuse™ High-Power Fuses are designed to minimize power loss, thereby enhancing overall system efficiency. Housed in a compact form factor, they address the challenges of space-constrained designs while offering robust performance under high-voltage and high-interrupting current conditions in industrial and other high-power electronic applications.
