Riverside, Calif., January 28, 2026
Dear Valued Customers of Bourns,
As you are likely already aware, severe weather conditions characterized by heavy rainfall have impacted the region surrounding Bourns’ Tunisia manufacturing facility since last week. This has caused several interruptions to our operations.
Unfortunately, manufacturing and administrative operations at the Tunisia factory were suspended for short period of time. This decision was made to ensure the safety of our employees as well as out of concern for the general public amidst the transportation disruptions and safety concerns raised by the weather.
In addition, we can confirm that these harsh conditions are impacting our immediate logistics. Consequently, the planned export to our forwarder, originally scheduled for the coming days, has been delayed.
Please know that all of us at Bourns are actively working on a resolution. We are currently awaiting confirmation from our logistics partners to arrange new shipment dates. It is our plan to proceed with the release of goods as soon as the end of this week.
Our teams will continue to monitor the situation closely. As soon as logistics schedules are confirmed and operations resume, we will provide further updates regarding the movement of your goods.
We thank you for your understanding and continued trust as we work to manage this difficult situation as efficiently and quickly as possible.
Sincerely,
Benjamin Hofmann
