Bourns Introduces Professional Lighting Component Line at 2016 NAMM Show

RIVERSIDE, Calif., January 18, 2016 - Bourns, Inc., a leading manufacturer and supplier of electronic components, today announced that its Bourns Pro Audio group will introduce a professional lighting components product line at the upcoming NAMM Show to be held January 21-24, 2016 in Anaheim, California. Bourns Pro Audio added the new professional lighting portfolio to help lighting and stage equipment designers and manufacturers meet industry demands for computer automation and technology advancements. As stage and theatrical productions become more elaborate and automated with stage lifts, moving platforms, and motorized lights and lighting truss rigs, component technology is now an integral part of stage designs. Bourns will showcase select professional lighting components at its booth #6865 (Hall A) at the 2016 NAMM show.

Bourns' broad line of professional lighting products includes components such as rotary position sensors, panel controls, slide potentiometers and rotary encoders used in the manufacture of light mixing consoles and controllers, computer controlled moving lights, moving stage platforms, and stage lifts. Also offered are a wide array of trimming potentiometers, resistor networks, and power resistors that meet the requirements of professional lighting equipment. For computer controlled light shows and PTZ cameras, Bourns offers rotary position sensing products with various communication protocols that are well-suited for use in robotic moving lights.
